My Friend Jan Family Style Boarding

My Friend Jan Pet Sitting and Boarding Policies and FAQ's.

Please read the following requirements, pricing and scheduling policies carefully so we can avoid confusion.

Dog Requirements for Boarding:

Dogs must be 12 months old, or older, spayed or neutered.
Prior to dog daycare or boarding, all dogs must have a short orientation visit at Jan's to evaluate their temperment and social reactions.
They must be social, well adjusted dogs who do not 'resource guard'. (ie: growling if you approach them when they're with their favorite toy, etc).
All dogs must have current DHLPP, Rabies and Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations and a record of these vaccinations is to be provided prior to staying.

Pricing and Payment information:

a deposit of the first day's fee is required to hold your dates. ($50.) It is fully refundable if you cancel at least 7 days in advance.
full payment is due on the day you drop your dog off.
the first day is a full charge, regardless of drop off time, and includes overnight.
no charge if picked up before 10am the next day
half day charge ($25) if picked up between 10 and 3pm the next day
full day charge if picked up after 3pm the next day

Scheduling information:

Drop off and pick up times are arranged between us in advance. I request that you give me a half hour time frame estimate on when you think you'll arrive, or make arrangements to call me 'on the road' as you're coming home.
You can arrange to pick up/ drop off your dogs during my normal business hours. M - F 7am to 7pm. Weekends 8am to 7pm (for instance, if your flight is leaving on Sunday morning at 6am, you'll need to drop off the day before, normal rates will apply.)
